Head of Risk, Compliance & AML (PCF-12, PCF-14 & PCF-52)

EMPOWERMENT is delighted to partner with two firms who are seeking a Head of Risk, Compliance & AML/CFT which will report into the Country Head/Managing Director.

For the first position, experience in a MiFID regulated firm is a requirement. For the second position, candidates with experience across variant CBI licences (EMI/PI/CASP/CSP) will be considered.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the Risk, Compliance & AML/CTF functions for the group and ensuring compliance with all regulations and reporting to the Board

• Contributing to the management of the relationship with the CBI on all regulatory matters, including required CBI reporting

• Oversee compliance monitoring, internal controls, policy management, regulatory inspections, audits, and remediation programmes, ensuring timely identification and mitigation of regulatory and operational risks.

• Leading on new regulatory projects that may impact the business

Experience:

• Prior PCF-approval as PCF-12, PCF-14 or PCF-52, or a combination of same, in a regulated entity (MiFID/EMI/PI/CASP/CSP)

• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements under the applicable CBI licence

• Superior communication and leadership skills

• Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Legal or similar with additional qualifications advantageous
