Colin Carroll

Colin Carroll is head of legal recruitment at EMPOWERMENT.  

He trained as a lawyer at Arthur Cox in Dublin qualifying into the Asset Management and Investment Funds group. He subsequently worked as a lawyer at McCann FitzGerald and with a boutique financial services focused law firm in London.

Colin read law at Trinity College Dublin and was ranked 9th in his class. The Law Society of Ireland awarded Colin the Patrick O'Connor Memorial Prize for obtaining the highest mark in Ireland in the law of equity Final Examination - 1.

In 2011, Colin established the Lawyers’ BD Club an international community of lawyers interested in business development and professional development.  The Lawyers’ BD Club runs a series of conferences and events in Dublin, London,, Paris, Dubai, Boston, New York and San Francisco.  Since 2011, Colin has organized more than 100 inspirational guest speaker TED-style career journey Talks. He also hosts a series of General Counsel Summits and invite-only General Counsel private-dining events. 

Colin enjoys spending time with his family, running and travelling.
