Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Senior Financial Accountant is part of the Finance team providing support to the Financial Controller, CFO and other members of their team.
Responsibilities
Preparation of month end financial accounting GL close process.
Completion of GL and system reconciliations.
Preparation of month end management accounts and reports, to include analysis of monthly variances & investigation of trends
Assist with annual and three-year budgeting & forecasting
Business partner with various departments and key internal stakeholders
Lead the preparation of annual financial statements under IFRS, supporting internal & external audit queries
Provide ad hoc financial analysis for senior management and the Board
Prepare VAT returns and filings,
Oversee monthly payroll run, invoice processing and expense bookings
Experience
Qualified accountant with a minimum of 4 years’ PQE Experience in Financial Services Industry and/or an accounting function.
Strong attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
Superior interpersonal and communication skills, an effective team player with ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
Strong MS office skills
Effective team player but with the ability to work on ones own initiative
