Financial Reporting Senior Manager (US GAAP)

​EMPOWERMENT is delighted to be partnered with a large Irish firm who are seeking a talented and experienced Financial Reporting candidate to lead a team within their Group Finance function. The role is varied in nature but will focus on a major project to complete a transition to US GAAP reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation and review of the Group's US GAAP consolidated financial statements (multi-currency and multi-national)

• Continuously strive to identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency gains in the external reporting process

• Preparation and review of the Board & Audit Committee deliverables (annual & interim results, regulatory developments etc.)

• Support newly acquired businesses with the Group's US reporting requirements

• Be involved in a variety of group wide ad-hoc projects

• Manage the team to achieve all required reporting and develop accordingly

Experience:

• Qualified Accountant with minimum of 10 years PQE

• Strong Financial Accounting & Consolidated Reporting background is essential

• Strong knowledge of US GAAP reporting requirements

• Superior communication and organisational skills, with evidence of having managed successful teams
