EMPOWERMENT is delighted to partner with a leading international Group Finance team, based in North Dublin, to hire an experienced finance professional with proven a track record of delivering across diverse business lines. The main objective is to provide high quality financial information for the financial management and decision making relating to financial planning and capital investment for the Group.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Managing the financial planning process for the group and providing detailed analysis to the executive, while challenging back to the business.

  • Responsible for Group five-year forecast financial model, development of the financial model, and ensure buy-in across the business.

  • Using the forecast process to influence the business around performance, capital allocation & overall funding strategy.

  • Provide financial support to wider Group teams in developing and updating the Strategic Plan, five-year forecasts and reviewing/preparing business plans.

  • Provide complete and accurate financial input for decision making through financial modelling and the use of various investment appraisal techniques.

  • Assist wider Group Finance team with year-end statutory reporting

  • Overall responsibility for the completion of the month end process for capital projects.

  • Ensuring capital budgets, forecasts, plans for the Group are completed in a timely manner and accurately, with all stakeholder input.

 

Experience:

  • Qualified professional accountant with a Big 4 training background or equivalent.

  • Minimum of 5+ years PQE.

  • Strong communication, presentation and reporting writing skills including the ability to communicate complex accounting/financial concepts to senior executives and key stakeholders.

  • Proven ability to work to deadlines.

  • Strong analytical and influencing skills.

  • Strong technical accounting skills.
