AVP Depositary Manager

​As a core member of the Depositary team, you will work closely with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure a superior client experience with seamless delivery across all banking services.

Responsibilities:

·        Establish and maintain appropriate control environment to ensure the Bank fulfils its depositary obligations.

·        Create and implement depositary procedures, review programs and checklists, as well as maintain the departmental procedures manual in a standardized format.

·        Review and sign-off on all Depositary related work.

·        Keep abreast with related business, technical and regulatory developments (incl. AIFMD, UCITS).

·        Lead the on-site inspections as well as schedule and attend periodic client service meetings.

·        Partner with clients to resolve queries and escalate any issues.

·        Provide departmental reporting to management and assist with training, development and motivation of the team to ensure a positive working environment

Experience:

·        3rd level business/finance qualification and a minimum of 5-8 years Depositary/Custody/Trustee services experience within the funds industry.

·        Knowledgeable in hedge funds and related prime broker arrangements, as well as AIFMD/ UCITS regulations.

·        Strong team management experience.

·        An excellent communicator with strong interpersonal effectiveness.

·        Previous experience managing projects
