Company Secretary Manager

​EMPOWERMENT are pleased to partner with a global legal firm who are expanding their corporate services offering in Ireland.

Reporting directly to the Associate Director, the Company Secretary Manager will provide Board support and CoSec services to a portfolio of clients and oversee the expansion of the team in 2025.

Responsibilities:

• Management and growth of the Company Secretarial team, allocation of workload and resources

• Ensure portfolio and clients are compliant with regulatory & statutory requirements

• Primary point of contact for the BoD, distribution of board packs and management of board meetings

• Horizon mapping and keeping up-to-date with changes in applicable laws and regulations

• Oversight and ownership of client billing

• Management of client onboarding, developing and maintaining procedures/protocols to meet client needs

Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, or related field, with a professional qualification in company secretarial practice (e.g., ICSA/CGI)

• 6+ years' experience in relevant company secretarial roles, including experience of managing people

• Comprehensive understanding of corporate governance, Irish company law (2014), and compliance frameworks

• Exceptional communication skills and demonstrable experience partnering with Boards and senior leadership teams

• Creative thinker, highly analytical with strong attention to detail
