This newly created role, (CF2) will sit within the 2nd LOD and be responsible for supporting the compliance monitoring programme, developing the compliance framework, reviewing company policies and training the group on possible risks within GFS. The ideal candidate will be partner closely with the Head of Risk & Compliance working on compliance related projects working closely with senior stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Review and evaluation of 1st LOD work as part of the Compliance, Risk and AML programme
Development and updating of company policies to meet regulatory requirements
Ensuring existing governance processes are operational and applied by the 1st LOD.
Act as MLRO for both the Depositary and Fund Administration Companies, holding CBI control function (CF2)
Regularly assess company operations, procedures and practices to identify possible weaknesses or compliance control risk.
Support the administration of the CBI system and assist with relevant Board reporting.
Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, law or similar discipline
Compliance or AML related certification (ACOI) highly advantageous
Minimum of 4/5 years’ proven experience within Fund Services in compliance.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Good knowledge of financial services compliance standards
Strong analytical skills
