Depositary AVP

​EMPOWERMENT are delighted to be partnered with a large global client to identify a talented senior Depositary professional to join their growing group. Working closely with internal stakeholders and external clients, you will deliver a superior-level of Depositary services to the client base.

Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain a suitable control environment to guarantee that the Bank complies with its depositary duties.

• Maintain your knowledge on current business, technical, and regulatory developments (AIFMD, UCITS).

• Establish and carry out depositary procedures, evaluate programmes and checklists, and keep the departmental procedures in a consistent format.

• You will work closely with clients to address their concerns and resolve any issues.

• Review and sign-off on all Depositary related work.

• Provide departmental reporting to senior stakeholder and help to create a positive culture by assisting with team training, growth, and motivation.

Experience:

• Relevant degree/qualification in business or finance.

• 5+ years of depositary/trustee services experience within the funds industry.

• Knowledgeable in hedge funds and UCITS/AIFMD regulations.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Experience managing projects and teams.

• An enthusiastic attitude and a proactive approach to your work ethic

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
