Finance Analyst

​EMPOWERMENT have been instructed by a reputable, leading Irish Plc based in South Dublin to speak to qualified accountants interested in moving into Finance Business Partnering. This financial analyst position is very diverse, giving you exposure to finance business partnering, budgeting, and forecasting, financial analysis, monthly projections and much more. 

This role will suit a results and commercially driven qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) with 0-2 years PQE (coming from industry or practice).

The Role:

• Monthly forecasting and analysis

• Identifying gaps between budget and forecast

• Ad-hoc presentations to management and senior stakeholders

• Provide financial support and KPI analysis for business planning initiatives

• Involvement in preparing the annual budget

• Involvement in other ad-hoc projects as they arise

The Person:  

• Qualified Accountant - ACA/ACCA

• 0-2 years PQE experience – ideally from industry i.e. FP&A, Finance Business Partnering, Cost Accountant etc. or audit background in a top 10 practice

• Comfortable working in a large multinational / PLC environment

• Experienced in financial analysis reporting, budgeting & forecasting, analysing data etc.

• Enjoy working cross functionally and collaborating with business partners

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Excellent skills in MS Office, especially in Excel and PowerPoint
