EMPOWERMENT are delighted to partner with a successful development company who are seeking a finance analyst to join their team in South Dublin.

By compiling and analysing data, creating cashflows and appraisals, and promptly delivering findings and recommendations in a format that is appropriate and high-quality, you will verify and present Financial Reporting and Management Information.

Reporting into the head of finance, this role would suit someone with 3-5 years’ experience as a financial analyst ideally within the Construction industry. An attractive remuneration package is on offer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Finance Team with fundraising, banking, and associated reporting.

  • Assist with the preparation of timely and accurate management reports.

  • Collecting and interpreting data to identify trends.

  • Monitor and assess financial performance by contrasting actual outcomes with projections.

  • Preparing & delivering comprehensive reports on findings.

  • Assist with the completion of Site Profit Appraisals and Cashflows .

  • Consolidate and evaluate financial data (budgets, income statement forecasts etc) considering company’s objectives.

  • Lead initiatives for policy creation and process optimisation that have an impact on the function.

  • Contribute to the monthly Performance Reporting process.

  • Collaborate on ad hoc projects/other duties as they arise.

Experience:

  • ACA / ACCA qualification is desirable, part-qualification is essential.

  • 3-5 years’ experience as a financial analyst (ideally within the Construction industry).

  • Strong numerical, analytical and reconciliation skills.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Excellent skills in MS Office, especially in Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Be a team-player and assist co-workers to balance the workload.
