EMPOWERMENT is delighted to partner with a talented accountant to join an Irish PLC in the position of Group Financial Reporting Manager, reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller.
Responsibilties:
Preparation of financial statements for Group & subsidiaries
Completion of month-end process for subsidiaries
Manage the relationship with the external auditors and interim reviews
Preparation of board-level presentations
Responsible for group tax compliance and financial controls, with support from Group FC
Experience:
Chartered Accountant trained in Top 10 accounting practice,
Some PQE in an industry role with a PLC advantageous
Strong knowledge of IFRS reporting standards
Superior communication skills and a proven team player, with ability to work on own initiative
*Due to small international travel (1-2 a year for a few days), only candidates who possess an Irish/EU passport will be considered
