EMPOWERMENT have been instructed by a reputable, leading Irish Plc based in South Dublin to speak to commercially driven qualified accountants (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) interested in moving into Finance Business Partnering. This finance business partner position is very diverse, giving you exposure to finance business partnering, budgeting, and forecasting, financial analysis, monthly projections and much more.

The Role:

  • Responsible for the financial management of multiple portfolios of work within the IBT portfolio

  • Management of a team of finance professionals to deliver best in class financial support to operational teams

  • Conduct periodic financial reviews with operational leadership teams to discuss study financial health and agree appropriate actions

  • Preparation of monthly financial reporting packages for operations with insightful and action orientated commentary

  •  Support the preparation of monthly financial forecasts and budget reconciliations

  • Identification of key Revenue and Margin drivers within the portfolio

  • Support the preparation of ad-hoc management presentations

  • As a member of staff, the employee is expected to embrace and contribute to our culture of process improvement with a focus on streamlining our processes, adding value to our business and meeting client needs.

The Person:

  • Qualified Accountant - ACA/ACCA/CIMA

  • 2-5 years PQE experience – ideally from industry i.e. FP&A, Finance Business Partnering, Finance Analyst etc or audit background in a top 10 practice

  • Comfortable working in a large multinational / PLC environment

  • Experienced in financial analysis reporting, budgeting & forecasting, analysing data etc.

  • Enjoy working cross functionally and collaborating with business partners

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Excellent skills in MS Office, especially in Excel and PowerPoint
