Finance Manager

​EMPOWERMENT have partnered with a high growth, early stage SME in Dublin who is seeking a Finance Manager to join their growing finance team. A diverse role, you will get exposure to financial operations, financial reporting, financial planning & analysis as the company continues on its growth trajectory. This position would suit a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA) with circa 2 years PQE coming from practice or industry.

The Role:

• Assist with preparation of monthly and quarterly accounts to meet internal and external reporting deadlines

• Support annual financial audits

• Review of Payroll, VAT & Corporation Tax returns

• Management of accounts payable/receivable & payroll

• Development and implementation of robust processes & systems to improve productivity of finance team

• Budgeting & forecasting

• Financial and performance analysis

• Liaise with internal stakeholders and outsourced service providers

• Ad hoc projects as they arise

The Person:

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA) with circa 2 years PQE

• Practice (audit background) or industry will be considered

• A self-starter & team player

• Solid working knowledge of accounting and payroll systems

• Good commercial acumen and understanding of how the finance function adds value to strategic decision-making

• Leadership, communication & people management skills

• Proficient IT skills and ability to learn new systems.

• Proven ability to function efficiently in a fast-paced environment with multiple, shifting priorities
