Fund Accountant

​EMPOWERMENT are delighted to partner with a quickly expanding international fund administration company based in Kilkenny or Dublin. Our client is looking for a junior fund accountant to join their team. The successful candidate will report into the financial reporting manager.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with all aspects of the recording and reconciliation of investment fund positions and associated underlying companies.

• Assist with annual fee data collation projects.

• Assist with the completion of routine audit queries.

• Prepare periodic bank reconciliations and provide or source supporting documentation evidencing transactions.

Experience:

• The candidate should have a desire to study towards a relevant professional qualification which will be supported by the company.

• Technical financial services.

• Proficient in Excel.

• Self-motivated and keen to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• An enthusiastic attitude and a proactive approach to your work ethic.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
