​EMPOWERMENT are delighted to partner with our global client who are seeking a number of candidates with 1-3 years' experience in Private Equity/Hedge Fund Accounting, to join their growing team in the position of Fund Accountant in a hybrid work environment.

Supported by a first-class senior management team with international experience, this is an ideal opportunity for candidates looking for greater exposure to a diverse client base, asset classes and premium Learning & Development programme.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of NAV's, Quarterly Accounts, Reconciliations and various processes

  • Preparation of Financial Statements

  • Assist with the onboarding of new clients, both from a fund launch and fund migration perspective

  • Assist with all aspects of the recording and reconciliation of investment fund positions and associated underlying companies.

  • Assist with the completion of routine audit queries.

  • Prepare periodic bank reconciliations and provide or source supporting documentation evidencing transactions.

Experience:

  • Undergraduate degree in Accounting/Business/Finance or Similar

  • An interest in pursuing a professional accounting qualification is beneficial but not essential

  • Interest in Hedge/Private Equity Funds

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft products including Excel

  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
