Part Qualified Accountant

EMPOWERMENT are delighted to partner with an Irish owned company based in North County Dublin who are looking for a part-qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, or CIMA) to join their team. The successful candidate will report directly to the finance manager and work closely with other internal and external stakeholders.


Responsibilities:

• Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations, bank postings and reconciliations for group entities and journal postings.

• Assist in the audit process and communicate with external auditors for interim and year-end audits.

• Preparation of audited accounts.

• Weekly & monthly reporting.

• Variance analysis for accounting ledgers and cost centres.

• Participate in projects and ongoing improvement initiatives with the finance team.

• General administration tasks.

Experience:

• 2+ years’ experience in a similar finance role.

• Self-motivated and keen to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• An enthusiastic attitude and a proactive approach to your work ethic.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

• Strong technical accounting and analytical skills.

• Degree/qualification in business, accounting, or finance.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Experience working on year end audit.

• Proficient in excel.
