EMPOWERMENT are delighted to partner with a successful development company who are seeking a senior finance analyst to join their team in South Dublin.
By compiling and analysing data, creating cashflows and appraisals, and promptly delivering findings and recommendations in a format that is appropriate and high-quality, you will verify and present Financial Reporting and Management Information.
Reporting into the head of finance, this role would suit someone with 3-5 years’ experience as a financial analyst ideally within the Construction industry. An attractive remuneration package is on offer.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop comprehensive financial models, conducting benchmarking and process analysis.
Provide strategic financial insight by conducting business studies on past, future, and comparative performance.
Assemble and summarise data to create sophisticated reports on financial status and risks.
Prepare and present comprehensive reports, providing valuable insights.
Provide creative alternatives and recommendations to reduce costs and enhance financial performance.
Contribute to the Annual Estimates, Budgeting, and Service Planning process.
Consolidate and analyse financial data, balancing workloads to support team efforts.
Consult with management to guide and influence long-term and strategic decision-making.
Drive process improvement and policy development initiatives impacting the finance function.
Collaborate on ad hoc projects/other duties as they arise.
Experience:
ACA / ACCA qualification is desirable, part-qualification is essential.
3-5 years’ experience as a financial analyst (ideally within the Construction industry).
Strong numerical, analytical and reconciliation skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Excellent skills in MS Office, especially in Excel and PowerPoint.
