Reporting to the Head of Fund Tax & Regulatory Reporting, the successful candidate will lead on all regulatory reporting aspects for the wider team requiring a candidate with a strong and diverse background across Funds/Asset Management. While prior experience in a senior funds regulatory reporting role is highly desirable it is not essential, however, the role does require a candidate with proven experience of running and successfully delivering complex funds/asset management related projects.
Responsibilities:
Be the lead SME for all regulatory deliverables within team and first point of contact for review of regulatory wording within client agreements & sub-investment manager agreements
Support Head of Fund Tax & Regulatory Reporting with key management responsibilities.
Lead and own the delivery of key regulatory reporting requirements to applicable regulators within strict timelines.
Lead the monitoring of regulatory and market developments that affect our funds, drive assessment of the operational impact of such new regulations, deliver the design and implementation of appropriate solutions.
Lead and drive the onboarding of new regulatory reporting service providers as required, and ongoing oversight of reporting and service levels from key regulatory service providers.
Provide first line risk and control for Fund Regulatory Reporting activities
Provide senior support to the team for all EMIR & SFTR obligations of the Funds.
Ensure oversight of all Sub Investment Manager reporting under these regulations is in place to guarantee reporting is complete, timely and accurate in line with ESMA and CBI requirements.
Ensure all UCITS Key Investor Information documentation (KIID) and PRIIPS KIDs are up to date and filed with the regulator.
Ensure all Fund Level SFDR disclosures and templates are complete and accurate and made available to clients internal stakeholders as required.
Lead the team to ensure delivery of quarterly AIF, AIFMD and CBI returns
Lead and support team with Investor Money Requirements (IMR) including annual reviews of Investor Money Management Plan (IMMP) and Money Market Fund Regulatory reporting requirements
Experience:
Extensive Funds or Asset Management experience within a leading Administrator and/or Fund Manager (minimum 5 years’ experience)
Strong academic background (Masters in Accounting/Finance/Economics or business related field advantageous)
In-depth knowledge of European Investment Products, UCITS, AIFs and Fund regulatory requirements desirable but not essential.
Experience of MiFID II Costs & Charges requirements, EMIR, SFTR, MMFR is a distinct advantage. Preferably also having experience of AIFMD reporting, IMR and exposure to SFDR regulation
Strong communication and presentation skills with ability to manage senior stakeholders effectively.
