Tax Manager

Are you a high calibre, technically strong, ambitious recently qualified tax professional/Chartered Tax Advisor operating within a Big 4 firm at Tax Manager or Assistant Tax Manager level? Would you like to focus purely on advisory and transactional work, leading and creating tax solutions on complex transactions for a leading international businesses? Our client operates a hybrid working policy and embraces D & I.

Responsibilities:

• You will develop responses to tax policy initiatives of OECD, EU, Department of Finance and Revenue Commissioners;

• Conclude on the firm’s position on technical points; 

• Supervise the work of the more junior members of the team, coupled with their education and training

• To manage the tax group’s knowledge content and systems;

• If desired, you would have the opportunity to undertake high-level client work across corporate, M&A, securitisation, finance, real estate and disputes.

Requirements for the role include:

• Circa 4 - 6+ years relevant (Legal or Accountancy or Tax (ACA / ACCA, CTA, AITI) background

• Excellent tax technical knowledge

• Superior Advisory and Professional Support skills

• Excellent communication / presentation / project management / time management skills

• Positive attitude, with an ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.

• Team player with an ability to build strong relationships with solicitors/lawyers across functions including corporate and M & A.

• Strong commercial awareness.
