Audit Manager

​EMPOWERMENT are delighted to partner with an accounting practice based in South County Dublin. Our client is looking for a hard-working and enthusiastic qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) to join their team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in their mission to provide exceptional audit and assurance services. Reporting directly to a partner in the firm, you will have access to senior stakeholders within the business.

Responsibilities:

• Supervising and managing audit engagements to ensure that they are carried out precisely and in accordance with applicable laws and accounting standards.

• Keeping up-to-date with changing accounting standards and best practises in the market.

• Carrying out thorough financial analysis, evaluating risks, and locating areas where clients' financial systems can be improved.

• Preparing comprehensive audit reports and presenting findings and recommendations to clients.

• Working closely with customers to fully comprehend their internal controls, financial procedures, and business operations.

Experience:

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA).

• Relevant degree/qualification in business, accounting, or finance.

• An enthusiastic attitude and a proactive approach to your work ethic.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

• Relevant degree/qualification in business, accounting, or finance.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Knowledge of Accounting and Auditing Standards.

• Proficient in MS Excel and Word.
