​Are you a recently qualified accountant looking to fast track your career in the renewable sector? Do you have a background in accounting but would like to get exposure to Financial Planning & Analysis and commercial transactions? My client, an international Renewable Energy company, based in Dublin, is seeking a Commercial Accountant. You will join a growing team with a flat structure giving you invaluable exposure to all levels. This position would suit someone coming from practice or industry (circa 0- 2 years PQE).

The Role:

  • Management accounting

  • Budgeting and forecasting

  • Financial models and data analytics

  • Assisting with core M&A activities i.e. financial modelling, due diligences, assessment of new markets.

  • Analyse and report on KPIs

  • Reporting to facilitate decision making

  • Collaborate with various teams

  • Support in streamlining processes to drive company performance

  • Involvement in other ad-hoc projects

The Person:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) – 0-2 years PQE

  • Experience with reporting, budgeting and forecasting

  • Data analytics/modelling experience desirable

  • Highly analytical with strong attention to detail

  • Commercially astute

  • Project management experience desirable

  • High level of communication and presentations skills
