Head of Outsourcing Oversight (Investment Management)

​An excellent opportunity is presented to join one of Ireland’s most impressive Investment Managers as Head of Outsourcing Oversight, playing a key role in leading the safe and sustainable development of the firm’s business and client base.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a robust oversight and governance framework in respect of all intragroup and outsourced providers, operational resilience and business continuity management, ensuring full compliance with CP138 & CP140.

• Identifying synergies in areas of controls and with international vendor management teams.

• Oversee reporting and remediation of E&Os, Operating Events and Internal Audit findings.

• Partner with business and functional colleagues to develop, implement and manage comprehensive control management framework and practices.

• Proactively develop periodic business risk metrics and dashboards that can used to identify potential risk mitigation opportunities

• Maintain awareness of regulatory risk and control topics, to include horizon mapping

Experience:

• Outsourced oversight experience, ideally coupled with knowledge and experience of the regulatory outsourcing guidelines for Investment Management

• Experience of operational/ outsourcing risk management frameworks a distinct advantage.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to partner at all levels of an organisation

• UCITS, AIFMD and Irish fund structure & regulatory knowledge
