Senior Financial Accountant - Technology

​EMPOWERMENT have partnered with a highly acquisitive, multinational technology company based in Dublin to help them source a Senior Financial Accountant. The successful incumbent will join a collaborative external reporting and accounting team. This role will ideally suit a qualified accountant (3-5 years PQE) with an auditing background coming from a Big 4 practice. The Role:

• Overseeing the group consolidated audit i.e. liaise with external auditors

• Assisting the finance team on accounting matters of all non-routine financial transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings, and refinancing.

• Guiding the business on accounting standards and collaborating to meet those standards

• Manage multiple workstreams and deadlines

• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders e.g. senior leadership team and group CFO

• Other ad hoc projects

The Person:

• ACA/ACCA qualified (3-5 years PQE)

• Technically strong (understanding of IFRS etc)

• Experience working in a fast-paced multinational environment e.g. audit background in practice

• Ability to work on multiple tasks and projects simultaneously

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Adaptable

• Strong work ethic
